Yuma Langenbach

Biomimicry Practitioner at Learn Biomimicry

Blending her knowledge in chemical engineering, biology and a Master's in Biobased Sciences, Yuma has been practicing biomimicry since early 2013. Originally trained by Claire Janisch, Yuma has honed her biomimicry practice by working on a wide variety of projects ranging from e-waste recycling, human waste and wastewater circular design (BPrac 2017), ecological machines and living buildings. Today, she guides learners to apply biomimicry and accelerate nature-inspired design so that we can bring nature’s genius more into our human world.


Professional Interests: living buildings, circular economy, biobased economy, ecological machines, nature-based solutions, water and biomimicry as a career.
